Located on the exclusive gated Pacific Canyon Drive, Casa Mogambo stands unique with its own gated long private drive passing over a stream and winding through the lush rain forest trees. Enjoy this sprawling private estate all to yourself with constant wildlife experiences. With gorgeous teak adorning every square foot of ceiling, air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout the entire home, and post card ocean views from every level, you will have to remind yourself to leave the property and enjoy the rest of Costa Rica!
The scarlet Macaws fly over every morning and evening, the Mono Congo (howler) monkey will most likely wake you up each day, and Capuchin (white-faced) and Mono Titi (squirrel) monkeys will visit regularly.
And these are just the ones asking for your attention. Stay still for a moment, and realize a toucan is sitting in a tree right above you, a red hummingbird and giant florescent blue butterfly are trading spots in a flowered vine, and a prehistoric looking iguana is slowing making its way up its favorite 100 foot tree.
And if you have another minute before beginning the day's adventures, or if you are taking some relaxing time at the property, scan the Cecropia trees which are a Sloth's favorite hangout. Casa Mogambo is lucky enough to have several of these trees right off the back deck.

- Since this property is nearby but outside of Tulemar, you will not have access to the Tulemar resort or the resort amenities. However, a Beach Service package is available for purchase for guests to enjoy the beautiful Manuel Antonio beach (not Tulemar Beach) throughout their stay. This service includes transportation to and from the beach, lounge chairs, access to showers and restrooms, plus food and drinks are available for purchase. This service is available 7 days a week. Ask your concierge for details, including pricing.
- Casa Mogambo is so beautifully private and serene because it is a quarter mile from the road through the rainforest. While the drive is paved, it is steep and if renting a car you MUST have a four wheel drive vehicle (4x4) to navigate (like a Toyota Prado). Your private concierge can arrange transportation to and from the airport that meets this requirement as well as make rental car suggestions. If you do not rent a car, make note that when calling for a taxi or activity/tour pickup (your concierge can always help with that too) it must be a 4x4 or you will need to climb the road to meet them at the top.
- If you are looking for a spring break destination with loud music and beer games in the pool then this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a luxurious jumping off point to Manuel Antonio or a quiet serene retreat then you will not be disappointed. Perfect for honeymooners, traveling couples, or special family get-togethers, Casa Mogambo's 3 very secluded acres are a sanctuary for wildlife and a sanctuary for your soul.
