1. How far is the beach from our accommodations?	The beach is about a 5 - 10 minute walk, however Tulemar provides a shuttle service to and from the beach and to other areas of the property.
2. What types of medical precautions should be taken prior to leaving?	There have been no cases of malaria reported in over 60 years and very few cases of dengue fever. It is always best to consult with your doctor prior to leaving your country.
3. Is the water safe to drink?	Yes, the water is safe to drink in Costa Rica, however bottled water is widely available.
4. Is the water safe to swim in?	Yes, the water is safe to swim in and there are no rip tides.
5. Where is the nearest golf course?	The nearest golf course is located about 1 hour away near the town of Jaco at Costa Rica's Marriott Hotel, called Los Sueno's Resort.
6. Does Tulemar Bungalows have internet access?	Yes we do have wireless Internet at the Restaurant and Front Desk area, you just need your laptop.
7. What clothes should I bring?	The type of clothing required depends on the extent of your adventure in Costa Rica and the dates or your trip. Manuel Antonio is a beach town and is about 10 to 15 degrees Celsius warmer than urban and central areas of Costa Rica such as San Jose and Monteverde.
8. Will I see any wildlife on the grounds of Tulemar Bungalows?	We have hundreds of species living on our property including the endangered Squirrel monkeys, Cappuccino/White faced monkeys, toucans, iguanas and many more. Youmay even have the chance to see some monkeys right outside the window of your bungalow or villa!
9. Are there any casinos close to the hotel?	Yes, there are two casinos located within the area. One that is within walking distance from Tulemar Bungalows and another that is located in the town of Quepos located near the Best Western Kamuk Hotel.
10. What types of tours and activities are available?	A wide range of activities and adventures are available in the area, such as: Manuel Antonio's National Park, Canopy Tours, Sport Fishing, Kayaking, White Water Rafting, Horseback Riding, Sailing Cruises, Dolphin Encounters, ATV Four Trax Adventure Tours, Nature Hikes, and Cycling Tours. There are also a variety of other activities across Costa Rica, which includes Volcano and Rainforest tours.
11. Are there any stores near the hotel?	Yes, there are several souvenir stores and small corner stores within walking distance from the hotel. Every Saturday, the town of Quepos holds its famous Feria which offers a large selection of fresh vegetables and tropical fruits. Quepos offers a variety of souvenir shops that provide a selection of items for all ages.
12. Are there any movie theatres?	Yes, there is a small movie theatre in one of the hotels which plays movies every evening at 8:30pm and is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel. In addition, there is another hotel and restaurant that offers movies every evening at 6:30pm. These movies are shown in English and may have Spanish subtitles. There are also movies offered every Monday evening at a local Pizzeria in Quepos at 8:00pm. The closest movie theatre (North American style) with current movies can be found in San Jose.
13. I am interested in real estate, where can I find a good real estate agent?	The town of Quepos has two real estate offices which include Century 21 and Costa Rican Properties. There is another real estate office in Manuel Antonio called Latitude 9.
